Leopardstown Course Guide and Statistics
The course at Leopardstown
Leopardstown is a left-handed, galloping course of about a mile and six furlongs, with a slight uphill finish. It is one of Ireland's leading tracks, staging top-class racing on both the Flat and over jumps. Its location on the edge of Dublin makes it one of the best-attended courses in the country.
Betting at Leopardstown
A fair track where form tends to hold up, and horses who perform here often go on to big races in Britain. Over jumps, its winter meetings are key trials for the Cheltenham Festival, so form from the Christmas Festival and the Dublin Racing Festival is crucial for spring betting. Horses that travel well and quicken off the home turn do well.
