Happy Valley Course Guide and Statistics
The course at Happy Valley
Happy Valley is a tight, right-handed turf course in the middle of Hong Kong Island, surrounded by high-rise buildings. It is best known for its Wednesday night meetings and has a short home straight.
Betting at Happy Valley
The tight bends and short straight make a good draw and early position very important, and horses drawn wide are at a big disadvantage. Front-runners and those that race handily do well. Course form is valuable, as some horses handle the tight track much better than Sha Tin.
